PCCA Action Alert!

PCCA: Action Alert on Electronic Logging Device Rule

Members of the Power & Communication Industry,

Last week, each of you received an Action Alert email from PCCA regarding our application to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requesting an exemption for drivers in our industry from the pending electronic logging device (ELD) requirement. These emails are generated by Muster, a company that connects citizens with relevant lawmakers and other decision-makers via intuitive advocacy software.

So far, the response from our industry has been impressive, and we thank everyone who took a couple minutes to follow the easy steps to contact FMCSA. And a special thanks to those who personalized their comments with facts about their own operations and how they would be adversely impacted by the rule.

The comment period for the PCCA application closes on October 16, so we need to act quickly.

Take Action!

Please be on the lookout for these Action Alert emails from PCCA/Muster, and check to make sure that they're not being blocked by your spam filter. These are not sales/membership messages, but rather requests for action on issues that impact the bottom line of all companies working in power and communication construction.

Thank you in advance for working together on these issues that benefit us all, and feel free to contact PCCA with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Tim Wagner
PCCA Executive Vice President
