Preliminary Schedule Pool Day 1 - 4 pm Join fellow members at the South Lagoon Pool for this annual informal gathering of PCCA members. Full beverage and food service will be available to purchase. Silent Auction & Reception 6 - 7 pm Not as raucous as the Live Auction to follow, the Silent Auction & Reception is filled with cocktails, snacks, good times with friends, and some low-key bidding for about 50 minutes. Then, as the deadline nears, things get a little crazy and it’s everyone for themselves! Auction & Dinner 7 - 10 pm The PCCA Auction is the liveliest night on the PCCA calendar. PCCA revelers bid on a variety of fabulous trips, ballgames, tools, equipment, jewelry, and much, much more. All proceeds go directly to building programs and services for PCCA members, including the PCCA Education & Research Foundation scholarship fund, so everyone is encouraged to bid early, bid often, and have a great time. Monday, March 9 Annual Contractor/Associate Exhibit & Breakfast 8 - 10:30 am PCCA’s supplier and manufacturer members host the Annual Contractor/ Associate Exhibit & Breakfast. Contractor members peruse the displays, meet with vendors, discuss jobsite issues, and learn about the industry’s latest products and services in a very relaxed atmosphere. Catch the Wave: How PCCA Members Can “Hang Ten” for Data Center Development 10:30 - 11:45 am The announcement and proposed spending on data center infrastructure through 2030 is astounding, and many of these data centers will be built in rural America where the confluence of natural gas access, water access, available land, potential for low-cost power access, and the ability to bring fiber to the site all exist together. These geographies sit atop of the natural service territories for many PCCA members, which raises the question of who will do the work. Attend this session and gain the following insights: • Hyperscalers, developers, speculators: who are they, who to pursue, who to avoid, and how do you tell the difference? • The “prosumer” model: on-site power generation and storage are taking place—who will select it, how will it be powered, and who will build it? • Development & planning cycle: what is the timeline, how is it occurring, and how can you break into the process? • Case study: Utah High Performance Compute Data Center Campus Mark Bridgers, Principal of Continuum Capital, will moderate a panel of experts that includes David Hamner, Managing Director Data Center Infrastructure at Continuum Capital, a 20+ year veteran of the global data center development market who has ridden the trends and will help you surf this wave of activity. Other invited panelists include industry professionals involved in site selection, logistics, power demarcation and planning at the site, and provisioning of new sites with fiber.
