Preliminary Schedule Friday, March 8 Registration Open 8 am - 6 pm PCCA Leadership Development Program: Building Long-term Client Relationships & Ethics with Andy Patron 8 am - 4 pm In the leadership development session, we will discuss the concept of business development and how to establish stronger customer relationships. We will share ideas about how to reinforce and reassure your clients after the sale to show that you care and to build long-term, repeat customers. You will learn how to anticipate what your customers want and need, so that you can frame an approach to win them over and be better able to price your solution based upon its value. The session will wrap up with a robust dialogue about ethics and integrity in business, and we will demonstrate the link between ethics and profit. Of course, we will include some interactive exercises to help you understand the concepts and get in some practice. $500 per person includes all educational materials, professional instructor, and breakfast & lunch on Friday. Saturday, March 9 Annual Contractor/Associate Exhibit & Breakfast 8 - 10:30 am PCCA’s manufacturer and supplier members host the Annual Contractor/Associates Exhibit & Breakfast. Contractor members peruse the displays, meet with vendors, discuss jobsite issues, and learn about the industry’s latest products and services in a very relaxed atmosphere. Spouse Breakfast 9 - 10:30 am Join Carolyn Campbell for a delicious breakfast and Bloody Marys & Mimosas. Past Chairmen/PCCA Foundation Meeting 10:30 am - Noon Ed Campbell hosts the PCCA Past Chairmen and PCCA Education and Research Foundation Board of Directors for discussion of the power and telecommunications industry and the selection of the 2024 scholarship recipients. Magnum Experience Helicopter Tour All Afternoon Choose between a 1, 2, or 3 pm flight times. Sights include Kaliuwa‘a (Sacred Falls), Ka‘a‘awa Valley, Le‘ahi (Diamond Head), Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor, and low-level flight off the shores of Waikiki. Flight will be on a Precise MD500 Magnum PI replica. Weights & heights are required for booking. Name and age required for children under the age of 18. Children under the age of 2 fly free when seated in the lap of a paying adult. Children 2 years and over are required an individual full-fare seat. Children must be at least 12 years old to sit next to an open door while aircraft is in flight. UTV Tour - Kualoa Ranch 1 - 5 pm Kualoa’s open-air Multipassenger UTV Raptor vehicles are a great way to see Oahu and enjoy the experience with friends & family. This guided tour leads you deep into scenic valleys and remote areas, often rambling along dirt roads, dusty trails and crossing seasonal streams. See the valleys where more than 200 Hollywood movies & TV shows have been filmed over the past 75 years. Each UTV will hold 6 people. Minimum rider age is 5 years old. A driver must have a valid driver’s license and may be liable for any damages to the Raptors if damage is caused by negligence or recklessness. $205 per person includes 2-hour UTV tour, transportation, guides, taxes & gratuities. Ocean Voyage Tour 1:30 - 5 pm To start off, you’ll cross Moli’i fishpond, an 800-year-old example of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture, where you will learn about sustainable fishing practices, an oyster farm, and current stewardship practices. Soon after you’ll arrive at Secret Island, where you’ll board a catamaran for an ocean tour of Kaneohe Bay. You’ll be amazed by spectacular views of Mokoli’i Island, Hakipu’u and Kualoa valleys, and the Ko’olau mountain range. If you’re lucky, you might see turtles and other wildlife. Tour requires guests to be able to able to climb stairs to board the catamaran. Minimum age is 3 years old. $112 per person includes 90-minute tour, transportation, guide, taxes & gratuities. Ohana Surf Lesson 1:30 - 3 pm Learn to surf with a professional certified instructor, while gaining confidence and knowledge to ride North Shore’s famed waves.
